Identify the plants most at risk. Understand how to classify plant materials according to risk and how to reduce or eliminate the residual risks identified. 3 # TOXICOLOGY APPLIED TO THE USE OF DRY EXTRACTS AND ESSENTIAL OILS

OBJECTIVE
Many plant extracts (including essential oils) are used in perfumery, cosmetics, aromatherapy or even in human food. The use of an essential oil in food supplements, as a single ingredient (pure essential oils) or as an ingredient in a more complex formula combining other active ingredients, is possible subject to compliance with the conditions of eligibility decreed by the regulations in force. In order to prove the safety of his product, the manufacturer should demonstrate through a risk analysis that the permitted dose limits are not likely to be exceeded in the finished product.
